Handmade Wooden Squirrel Feeding Boxes
A Squirrel Feeder placed in a quiet spot in the garden can discourage squirrels from raiding the birds` feeders.
Squirrels can be fun to watch especially when they`re not chasing birds away or damaging trees and buds.
Our Squirrel Feeder is made with heavy duty reclaimed timber and has a flip top lid which keeps food dry until the squirrel lifts the lid to access the food (initially you may need to leave the lid propped open slightly to enable the Squirrel to get the gist of how to access the food)The generous hopper can be filled with peanuts or mixed squirrel food.
The front of the hopper is made from Perspex which slides out to enable easy removal of any old remaining food.
The feeders have been oiled with Rye oil to help preserve the wood. This oil is harmless to wildlife.
